This Lap Counter is a Swimmers Dream

Swimming is such good exercise and crew food so good on board superyachts that exercise becomes essential.

Oh how I wish I had this Lap Counter years ago when I was the Captain of a superyacht.  There was nothing I liked more than to start my day when at anchor by swimming around the yacht.

Swimming is such good exercise and crew food so good on board superyachts that exercise becomes essential.

Problem remembering

The problem for me was; remembering how many times I had actually swam around the yacht

Now that I no longer command large yachts my swimming is confined to lengths of an indoor swimming pool but the problem remains the same.  My mind wanders while I swim and I forget how many lengths I have done and so cannot manage to log my achievements on Strava

The LapCounter can also be used by anyone needing to count anything besides pool laps.

Now I need never forget again! I have fallen in love with my Lap Counter and find it accurately tracks how many lengths I have completed during my training session.  It is an ideal training aid for athletes of all ages and abilities.

Count anything

The LapCounter can also be used by anyone needing to count anything besides pool laps.  The one hand operation makes counting easy when loading stores on board for example and leaves your hands free to do other things.

Lightweight with an ergonomic design, the SportCount LC is a cheap yet simple device.  It wraps around your index finger using a velcro strap. The large button is used to count lengths, and to reset the counter hold down for a prolonged push.

It registers each lap count with one touch yet will not interfere with your technique when swimming.

The finger strap is extremely comfy, and I barely notice it when I wear it.

The button click is simple to find by instinct.

The unit powers off after around a minute or two of inactivity. The pressure required to activate the buttons are just about right. I haven’t mistakenly counted two laps, nor have I thought I counted a lap and didn’t press hard enough.

The device Counts up to 9,999 is water resistant to 50 metres, has a1 year limited warranty and comes with long life lithium ion battery
