Bromont Campervan Unveils First All Electric Campervan Rental

In the summer of this year, Bromont Campervans will be the first converted passenger car rental company in North America

Bromont Campervan based in Quebec Canada has beaten the world to it!

In the summer of this year, they will be the first converted passenger car rental company in North America to hold a fully electric vehicle in its fleet.

With a 125 mile autonomy on a single charge, the Ford e-Transit offers rental customers the chance to take the slow road and experience a new kind of tourism in Canada.

Indeed, the primary goal of this vehicle will not be to make long distances in a few days, but rather to experience local tourism, to have a good time exploring the real Canada while waiting for the battery to be recharged, to meet local artisans… all this by saving large sums on fuel costs and doing your part for the environment!

Olivier Marcoux, the founder of the Bromont based company

Olivier Marcoux, the founder of the Bromont based company said, “We are really very proud to be precursors in this field. Yes, vanlife and road tourism are interesting, but it is clear that the increase in the price of gasoline as well as our environmental values pushed us to want to develop this new kind of tourism.”

The campervan conversion is being handled by Olivier Barré at EazyVans in Cowansville

The 2-berth layout comes with cherry wood furniture, an electric retractable bed, a kitchenette as well as a toilet and shower.   Travellers will be comfortable during their Canadian all electric road trip aboard the all-new Ford E-Transit.  A Volthium battery will complete the layout with a battery that will allow you to use all the vehicle’s accessories without reducing its autonomy.

Based in Bromont, the company offers a weekly, all-inclusive motorhome rental service.  Fees include insurance, cleaning and even itinerary suggestions for Europeans like us.  Needless to say, Olivier offers an outstanding customer service.   An avid campervan user himself, Olivier, the founder, understands what it is that Europeans want when they rent an RV in Canada.  He said, “I understand the holiday mode concept that allows unparalleled freedom. Having made more than 100,000 km onboard different vehicles, he now wants to share his passion and experience in order to make his customers live the most beautiful holiday.”
