Nick Hill and Niall Robinson, started their eponymous yacht management company in 2001 with six yachts under management and a team of just four now they have offices around the world and are expanding their senior management team

Nick Hill

Nick Hill started his sailing career at Oyster Yachts in 1980 delivering his first yacht to the Caribbean in 1984. He joined Jessica, the 3 masted schooner and for the next 10 years as captain on yachts such as Orejona, Astrape, Dwyn Wen, Philanderer, and Thendara, Nick gained experience in different cruising areas, notably the East Med, USA,  Caribbean and SE Asia.

Niall Robinson

Niall has been involved in professional yacht management since 1997, co-ordinating the building, operation and refiting yachts. He began his career in professional yachting in 1985, working on yachts such as Invader and Creole.

Dutchman Karl Hartmann became the third partner having joined the firm in 2007.  He started his yachting career at Koersvelt Yacht Projects B.V. As a Project Engineer where he represented various Owners and managed their new builds.

Mark Robinson brother to Niall, recently appointed someone else to take on his somewhat thankless task at Yacht Carbon Offset selling credits to yachts and has joined the firm as managing director

Now as they gear-up for the challenge of a new-world superyacht environment for their clients, developing and reinforcing its skill base and strategic objectives in management they have appointed a Chief Operating Officer and a new Sales and Marketing Director to the expanding team.

This, they say, will also help meet the dynamics of the Covid-19 environment and develop a fresh approach for the crucial support for the future of luxury yachting, going forward.

Tim Leese

Bringing a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge from the automotive world, Tim Leese has been appointed Chief Operating Officer.  He developed his management credentials working with amongst others, Jaguar Land Rover as Head of Operations in the Special Vehicle Operations Division.  Tim’s experience also includes work in Asia, the Middle East.

Kurt Fraser

After a career spanning several luxury markets, Kurt Fraser has spent the last five years working with West Nautical and Camper & Nicholsons and now joins Hill Robinson as their Sales and Marketing Director. Kurt brings a wide range of experience to the role including the hands-on operations of dealing with elite clients, orchestrating major brand improvements, and creating compelling yacht marketing campaigns.
