Navy Beach Expands from Hamptons to Caribbean

One of the most buzzed about restaurants and bars, Navy Beach Montauk famed for offering a memorable dining experience for the whole family is to partner with Island Global Yachting Ltd. Together they plan to expand into IGY’s luxury Caribbean superyacht destinations at Yacht Haven Grande St. Thomas and Yacht Club at Isle de Sol St. Maarten.

Navy Beach delivers a high-quality fish centric menu with an emphasis on sustainable seafood and local seasonal produce. This laid-back, family-friendly eatery has quickly developed into a hotspot for yachts and a coveted favourite for private events and destination weddings

Yacht Haven Grande

Navy Beach St. Thomas will open in December 2019 with prime waterfront positioning at the sprawling Yacht Haven Grande and will feature a delightful mix of fully covered and sun-dappled outdoor seating for more than 100 guests, a comfortable outdoor lounge and 20-seat bar, all with unobstructed views of the surrounding yachts and Charlotte Amalie Harbor, which serves an impressive collection of the world’s finest superyachts as well as an array of sailing, sport fishing and other pleasure crafts. The bright, open-air nautically inspired space spills out onto Yacht Haven Grande’s prized “canon lawn,” making it the perfect venue for live music performances, private events and weddings.

The opening of Navy Beach St. Thomas will be followed by two new sister concepts in neighbouring venues along the waterfront promenade at Yacht Haven Grande: ISLA Cantina, a Mexican eatery opening late 2019 with an indoor-outdoor bar and overwater dining patio splashed with an eclectic mix of colours, fabrics and Mexican-inspired art to enhance the lively and communal atmosphere; and Sylvette, a French-Mediterranean neighbourhood bistro opening early 2020 with more neutral hues, natural textures and vintage photos gracing the walls of the intimate indoor dining room and covered patio.

Navy Beach will operate onsite catering for events and deliveries to the surrounding marina and yachts.

The casually coastal cuisine at both Caribbean Navy Beach locations will feature new dishes crafted with island flair—including Red Snapper Ceviche, local blackened Mahi Mahi, and Grilled Caribbean Lobster—alongside signature favorites imported from the original Montauk flagship, including the Yunnan Ribs, Grilled Avocado, Jumbo Lump Crabcake, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Truffled Mac, Crispy Whole Fish, and the Navy Burger.  Other Highlights from the menu include Tacos al Pastor, Spicy Tuna Tostada, Mexican Street Corn, and Peanut Butter Stuffed Jalapeños; while the stand-outs at Sylvette are sure to include the Pan con Tomate, Swordfish Carpaccio, Charcuterie Board, and Red Snapper Panzanella.

This partnership between Navy Beach and IGY Marinas will significantly enhance the luxury nautical experience for locals and visitors alike. “Navy Beach is thrilled to partner with IGY on its brand expansion into the Caribbean Islands,” says Navy Beach partner Frank Davis. “To share our beverage, dining and event experiences with vessels and guests who have not stayed in the Hamptons or had the opportunity to enjoy Navy Beach, is very exciting for us.”
