Monaco Sets the Clocks Back

The Monaco Yacht Show is to modify its opening times.  This coming September the show will be open to visitors from 11.00 am to 7.30 pm.

It will now open to visitors later in the morning and will extending opening times into the early evening. Doing so the show organisers hope to offer schedules that correspond better to the visiting times preferred by private clients.

Chosen after consultation

The new opening times, have been chosen after consultation with major yachting companies. They should ease the relentless intensity of the fours days of the show. And create a more pleasant experience both for visitors interested in chartering or purchasing a yacht and for exhibitors.

The MYS will thus be open to the public from 11 am to 7.30 pm (it will close at 7 pm on the Saturday). Exhibitors and media will have access earlier in the morning. Exhibitors can devote their mornings to meeting colleagues in the exhibition tents, holding press conferences or organising their day’s work before welcoming visitors.

For four days, every September since 1991, yacht owners, future superyacht purchasers or charterers, decision-makers in the yachting and luxury industries have attended the Monaco Yacht Show. They do so to participate in one of Europes most influential business networking events.

Every year, shipyards display some 125 extraordinary one-off superyachts. Of which, around 40 are new launches being unveiled for their worldwide debut.

Ashore

Ashore, organisers curate a selection of 580 companies in the industry: from superyacht builders and suppliers, to yacht designers, luxury manufacturers and brokerage houses. Superyacht tenders, water toys, prestige cars, helicopter and private jet manufacturers all use the show to display their wares

The Monaco Yacht Show is an event by Informa and gratefully benefits from the recognition and the support of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
