Mark Duncan, Group Commercial & Marketing Director at YPI tells us that the company has successfully signed a letter of intent for Project Blade a new construction project.

This new 100m superyacht will be built for the owner of Axioma by Dunya Yachts the yard that built Axioma as Red Square

The owner of Axioma seems to have taken a serious interest in the cutting-edge PYC design and plans to implement a series of new design and construction techniques in line with the Turkish shipyard.

After a successful year, a number of impressive sales and a brand-new construction project on the cards, Axioma will now be placed on the market for sale as she celebrates the most successful charter season ever.

Project Blade will be built to the PYC and will be 4,500 gross tones (3,000 tones more than Axioma).

Designed by Ken Freivokh, the new yacht will carry many of the features present on Axioma but these will be reimagined and will include for example a two storey atrium and a swimming pool on the aft deck. The yacht will have a 14m tender, a 10.5m limousine tender and a crew tender as well as 6 jet skis.

Axioma having accounted for more than US$ 7,000,000 of charter revenue in her first year is now for sale through YPI and they say that the new yacht when completed will also charter through them.
