When it comes to travel by sea very few commercial passenger ships are able to compete with the luxury and service offered by superyachts on charter.

There is one however sailing around the Scottish Highlands and Islands that gets pretty close!

Her name is Hebridean Princess and ship is operated by Hebridean Cruises a division of the All Leisure Group.

We had the very great privilege to sail in her and the following stories in our travel blog reflect the pure unadulterated enjoyment that 39 man strong crew aboard that little ship managed to pass on to her 50 passengers.
