Future of Superyachts Conference

The 7th edition of the annual Future of Superyachts Conference is sheduled to take place at Nixe Palace Hotel in Mallorca Spain spanning the 19th and 20th June 2012

Produced by Quaynote the topics to be covered include:

  • Investing in and developing the Superyacht Industry
  • Regulation and Compliance
  • Crew and Owners
  • Finance, Insurance and Tax
  • Future of Yacht Design and Technology

Conferences such as this are designed to make money for the organisers.  Speakers are seldom paid to talk and very few get their expenses paid which means that they all come with a pre prepared marketing agenda.  What makes this conference a little different is that the organisers are not a magazine publishing group and therefore welcome coverage from independent media an attitude we find wonderfully refreshing and a welcome break from the closed shop conferences operated by others.

Speakers currently booked include:

  • Ayuk Ntuiabane, Director, Moore Stephens
  • Bransom Bean, Moore Stephens
  • Derik Wagner, Managing Director, MTN Satellite Services
  • Diego Colon, President, AEGY
  • Gabriel Gonzalez, Sovereign
  • Ken Hickling, President, ISS
  • Laurent  Perignon, COO, Camper & Nicholsons
  • Mark Cornell, CEO, Edmiston
  • Martin Bellamy, Group Chairman and Chief Executive, Salamanca Group
  • Neil Anderson, Dupont
  • Nick Saul, Managing Director, Bachmann Marine
  • Paul Hailwood
  • Tine A. Willumsen, CEO, Above & Beyond
  • Toby Allies, Sales & Marketing Director, Pendennis
  • Tony Allen, Partner, Hill Dickinson

As well as the conference sessions there are frequent debating sessions, a cocktail party at the end of day one and a break out session over a glass of champagne to ensure that delegates get what they really pay for when attending these events, that is the chance to network and debate in a informal atmosphere.
