World’s Largest Privately Owned Two-Masted Schooner for Charter

Delivered last year to a very proud owner, Athos is the world’s largest privately owned two-masted schooner.
Now for the first time ever, and for a limited period only, the stunning 62-metre built by Holland Jachtbouw-built is available for charter through Central Agents Yachting Partners International (YPI)
One of the most spectacular and innovative sailing yachts to be launched in recent years, Athosis the result of the combined efforts of designer Andre Hoek, its Dutch builder and the yacht’s own highly committed owner who personally oversaw a raft of engineering innovations being introduced to the project.
Athos is one of those increasingly rare yachts that fills people with excitement and joy at just the sight of her and onboard she is even more impressive.”
ATHOS has an 11-metre beam that creates an unprecedented amount of volume.
“Her interior includes an Owners Suite with private cockpit and deckhouse, four guest cabins and a main deckhouse with a formal dining and lounge area.”
She has three boarding platforms offering plenty of options for dinghies but also the perfect landing platform for a feature unique to Athos.
She carries her very own FIB, or Flying Inflatable Boat, onboard and guests holding a valid flying licence will be able to fly it for
themselves.
When it comes to other toys, guests will not find her lacking, carrying as she does:
  • Two Laser Vago Sailing Dinghies
  • Two Optimist Sailing Dinghies
  • One Custom 6.2m Naiad tender
  • One Custom Rib-X 5.3m
  • Three Wakeboards
  • Dive gear for up to eight divers
  • Water skis,
  • Inflatable toys
  • Towables
  • Full range of fishing equipment

and lots more all discreetly stored in the yacht’s large deck lockers.
“The owner will be using ATHOS a lot this season,” says YPI Charter Manager Carine Zanotti, “but he has agreed to let us charter her at important periods in the year – meaning some guests are going to have the chance of a lifetime – the chance to spend some quality time
onboard one of the most spectacular sailing yachts in existence today.”
