Sailing Yachts at East Winds

Top Caribbean Hotel adds Sailing Catamarans to its list of Beach Attractions

One of our all time favourite hotels in the Caribbean is the East Winds Inn on the Island of St Lucia. It is right on the beach and very convenient for yacht owners to use as a land base for extra guests while their yachts are in the waters enjoying harbours such as Rodney Bay, Marigot Bay and of course Castries.

But if East Winds had a single fault it was that it did not have direct access to the water in its own sailing yachts something that General Manager Gareth Leach has now put to rights.

East Winds has acquired two brand new Hobbie Cats and reserves them for the exclusive use of the hotel guests. Use of the boats is, like everything else at the hotel, once you have paid the room rate, included in the price making this hotel not only one of the best on the island but equally one that offers real value for money.

If you fancy a bracing sail along the leeward side of St Lucia, book a room at East Winds and tell Gareth that Frances and Michael sent you.

  1. Hello all,

It is a very well known sailing location due to the warm and consistent trade wind breeze and the beautiful beaches and scenery. You can berth in port to enjoy fantastic nightlife, restaurants and great facilities. Thanks a lot…
