Super Yacht Africa Leave Paint Shed

New 45 metre superyacht was painted in high tech facility

Jean-Claude CARME the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Sunrise Yachts tells me that Africa the company’s very first yacht has left the purpose built paint shed and will shortly undertake sea trials before heading for her world debut at the Monaco Yacht show.

Conceived by an experienced German super yacht owner and styled by Paolo Scanu, Africa is the first of the company’s 45m long-range displacement yacht to be built at their purpose built facility in Antalya. The hugely impressive paint shed is perhaps the most technically advanced I have seen and it will be interesting to view the result when she is seen for the first time in public

Capable of accommodating up to 11 guests in high-level comfort she has a themed interior from designer Franck Darnet that features the subtle use of exotic skins and hides to highlight the décor.

Her efficient high-tensile steel hull design, powerful engines and impressive tank capacity were designed to achieve trans-Pacific distances or summer coastal cruising without refuelling.

Mike Payne at the Monaco Office of CNI has her sister ship for sale at a price of around €16.5 million.
