Retro Design Super Yacht for Fractional Ownership Programme

Trumpy superyacht will be available through timeshare

Using a newly conceived retro design, two brand new Trumpy 125s have been commissioned for a fractional ownership scheme. Alex Suarez, the Managing Partner of Classic Yacht Partners was inspired by John Trumpy’s pre-war designs when he drew the lines of this new 38-metre superyacht and it is he who is spearheading their construction for the timeshare programme. Sub contractors working for Trumpy Yachts, a company reformed earlier this year after a thirty-five year hiatus, will build the yachts in Turkey.

Johan Trumpy grandson of the company’s founder said, “this enhanced 125 will be one of the most elegant yachts that I have ever been involved with.” Jim Ewing, formerly the head of Alden Yachts and now the company CEO, confirmed that Vicem Yachts would construct the yachts on their behalf.

Designer Alex Suarez of Classic Yacht Partners in Atlanta, Georgia said. “When I first met with Johan and Jim Ewing, at the Palm Beach Show, it was obvious that they had the vision and the relationship with Vicem Yachts to build the kind of yachts our clients and the new business requires.”
