Super Yachts Put to Test in Bodrum

Numarine Duo put through their Paces

At the Numarine sponsored open day in Bodrum Turkey last week some of the worlds top boating journalists were given the opportunity to try out the company’s newest boats among which were two 78 foot performance power yachts that while they share the same hull design are presented in two completely different versions that each perform differently and each has an appeal to a different audience.
The 78 FLY is an exciting well laid out yacht that has a traditional layout down below and offers the additional deck space on its spacious flybridge providing a good driving position and a commanding view.
The 78 HT with the initials standing for hard top will appeal to the younger boating enthusiast and is quickly establishing its self as an entry level craft among successful business people looking to spend fun time of the water. The darker hull craft in our picture she is fitted with twin MAN diesels that emit a throaty oar as they push her along at 38 knots.
