First Views of Picchiotti-Vitruvius 50m super yacht

The hull of the new Picchiotti-Vitruvius 50m super yacht was spotted as it was moved from the main square of Cantieri Navali Beconcini to one of the three fitting out sheds situated in front of the Gulf of La Spezia

The transfer was made by the yards new 820 Ton travel-lift for very large yachts.

This is the first motor yacht sold by the Perini Navi Group, and is currently under construction with deliverery scheduled for next spring.

A second Picchiotti has been recently sold: The Vitruvius Explorer 55m, will be built in compliance with ice-class standards, in order to complete the North-West passage, the sea route through the Arctic Ocean, via the waterways of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.  Once again Philippe Briand is to be the naval architect for the project

This second unit will be delivered to her Owners in Summer 2011
