Cobblers Cove Hotel

Unknown

Some five miles north of Sandy Lane in Speightstown, which is also known as Little Bristol, Cobblers Cove is situated 12 miles north of the capital city of Bridgetown, in the northern parish of Saint Peter.

The Hotel is quiet and rather club like. Its guests return year after year and hope that the ambience never changes. But to make it work for future generations it has to change and it is doing so quietly and without disturbing anybody.

Will Oakley the hotel’s General Manager whose style of management is refreshingly simply and hugely effective is what makes this hotel tick. He appears to be everywhere at the same time and yet is never in your way!

Popular with both guests and locals alike, the ocean-front Camelot Restaurant has been singled out as the Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association’s ‘Restaurant of the Year’. Bajan born Head Chef Jason Joseph, serves food that is fresh and seasonal, offering a true taste of Barbados.

He uses only ingredients from local suppliers to make sure only the freshest, most flavorful ingredients are used to bring the true taste of the island to Camelot guests. His resilient passion and talent for creating new dishes has made him a respected and regular competitor at local, regional and international food showcases.

We sat down to a family like beach BBQ supper eating fish freshly caught fish by Local fisherman Barker who brings his catch to Camelot Restaurant each day

It is easy to see how the constant striving for excellence in cuisine has earned the hotel its much coveted 5 star recognition from the prestigious Relais & Châteaux group, whose emphasis on food and wine has set the culinary bar at the highest level.
