Yacht Closes London City Airport

Sunseeker’s all new 131 yacht, the biggest boat ever to be unveiled at the London Boat Show, temporarily closed the runway at London City Airport as it moved to its berth in preparation for the show

The journey along the Thames for the 40 metre Zozo became was a major logistical exercise as the airport temporarily closed a runway to allow the yacht to pass through King George V Lock.

The 131 Yacht will be the largest model ever to make its debut at the London Boat Show at Excel and will appear alongside a collection of Sunseeker models ranging from 15 metres and upwards.

Demand for the new yacht is high with the first five already pre-sold to customers around the world

All five boats are currently under construction at builders ’s facilities in Poole, Dorset.

One standout feature of the new yacht is the addition of feature glass in the Master Stateroom, Saloon and Upper Saloon to create a light filled relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable environment for owner and guests.

Standard guest configuration is for ten guests in five cabins, with scope for up to 12 to be accommodated depending on the layout and options selected. The tender garage can accommodate craft up to 6.0m in length plus two PWCs.

Based on the classic company designed deep V hull, this large tri-deck yacht is equally comfortable operating at 10 knots for an extended cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles or at 23 knots for ultimate performance.

The yacht will be on show at London Boat Show from 8th to 17th January 2016.
