Development of Golfito Marina Village & Resort, Costa Rica’s newest marina has entered the first phase of construction
The marina will include 50 deep-water marina slips, 80 metre long high volume filtered fuel dock, Fisherman’s Village, dry boat storage and a service yard.
When completed in 2015, Golfito Marina will include 132 slips designed for yachts from 9 to 106 metres and an array of amenities including a yacht club; tournament fishing facilities and charter fleet; and round the clock concierge services.
Golfito Bay, located just 343 miles north of the Panama Canal, is considered a safe harbor and is the only approved drop-off and pick-up zone for yacht transport ships on the west coast of Central and South America.
Golfito Marina Village & Resort will when complete feature a full-service open-air spa, well-equipped fitness facilities, exotic swimming pools, great island-style restaurants and a nightclub for after-hours fun and entertainment.
