Vitruvius Yachts is a brand name whose name derives from ‘The Vitruvian Man’, a drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci said to be the symbol of ideal proportions.

Just because the first (and to date only) three yachts have been built at the Picihotti shipyard owned by Perini Navi it does not follow that all Vitruvius Yachts.

In the Merchant Navy this is not an uncommon occurrence. Designs of the same ships are frequently built in different shipyards around the world and the classic SD14 cargo ship was perhaps the great proponent of such a phenomenon.

So it should come as no surprise that in collaboration with the Dutch yard Oceanco Veerle Battiau and Philippe Briand have developed the design of a 105 M, the largest yacht to date in the series.

Designed by Vitruvius yachts with Naval Architecture by Philippe Briand the 105 M will be the first motor yacht entirely designed around the new regulations of the PYC to carry 24 passengers.

More information is expected on this project later in the year. Until then you like us will have to put up with the poor visual supplied.
