Superyacht Professionals Rise to New Challenge and Compete in Charity Cycle Ride

Can you rise to the challenge and compete in the 2014 ‘Cogsfor Cancer’ charity cycle ride for superyacht professionals?
In October this year eight superyacht professionals cycled 800km in five days from Antibes to Palma as the Cog for Cancer team.
On that occasion they raised €111,804.87 in aid of Cancer Research UK

Two months on they are gearing up to do it again next year. Now they are looking to expand that team asking others to join them.
In early October 2014, Cogs4Cancer are planning to cycle from Ancona to Antibes – a total of around 850 KM in 5 days.
Last year the team consisted of:
  • Steve Crowe of media group, Yachting Pages
  • John Clark of Yachtwrap
  • Sarah ‘Dawsy’ Dawson of Fashion Wagon
  • Robbie Maguire, captain of Happy Hour
  • Ben Young of Sunseeker Superyacht Management
  • Wayne Jones, captain of Rhino A,
  • Adrian Long from Inter-Nett
  • Lee Mutch from Inter-Nett

It is they who have put a shout out to the superyacht industry to make the team bigger and better for next year.
Steve Crowe, managing director at Yachting Pages said, “I am looking forward to the challenge of an extra 50 KM.”
All riders need to bring at least €5,000 sponsorship to qualify to ride, as well as take part in sufficient training to enable them to complete all 850 KM

If you are interested in making a difference, your entry will need to be submitted by 15th January 2014

After this date the final list of successful riders will be drawn at random and announced.
