Sunseeker at London Boat Show

British based boat builder Sunseeker International will debut two new craft at the London Boat Show which runs from 10th until 14th January 2018 at London’s ExCel Exhibition Centre.

Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to view two show debuts, the 76 Yacht and Predator 57 MKII, both launched in Autumn 2017 along with the award-winning Manhattan 52, the Manhattan 66 launched at the show last year and the San Remo.

76 Yacht – Show Debut

The exciting, all-new 76 Yacht which launched at Southampton surprises and delights at every turn, delivering unprecedented levels of luxury, sociability and entertaining space and with 23 sold to date, is already in high demand.

The 76 Yacht certainly hits the sweet spot in terms of size, space and superyacht feel whilst being extremely manageable for those looking to self-crew. Owners and prospective customers have been amazed at how the clever design maximises social and entertaining spaces, whilst the innovative use of glass enhances natural light, making this a bright and airy boat in which to relax and unwind with family and friends.

The optional retractable glass skylight over the lower helm affords an open boat experience, allowing light to flood into the helm area and is complemented by a large companion seating area opposite. Natural light also flows into the main deck through extended window lines and unique full-height glazing on the port side, making the dining area a spectacular place to entertain with incredible views over the water.

The customer trend for enjoying more of the exterior spaces has been embraced by Sunseeker too. For life ‘al fresco’ her exterior decks, now with 25% more space than her predecessor, provide unprecedented levels of flexibility with dedicated foredeck dining and sun bed areas complemented by an optional pram hood canopy and drawer refrigeration. The substantial cockpit can be specified to provide additional lounge seating or a cocktail bar for afternoon drinks whilst the option of the award-winning ‘Beach Club’ complete with BBQ grill, fold-out seating and full height ‘rain shower’ makes full use of the transom area and hydraulic bathing platform which is large enough to carry a Williams 445 tender.

The expansive flybridge is another exceptional feature of the 76 Yacht, and the impressive layout can be further enhanced by the addition of an optional spa-tub and cocktail bar to further complement that ‘superyacht’ feel.

The light and space continues below deck, where there are four sumptuous en suite cabins, including an impressive full beam master suite with en suite and dressing area. The spacious crew cabin can accommodate up to three people in an open-plan layout or can be specified with an enclosed double berth cabin.

Power via shaft drive is aplenty with two MAN V12 engine options providing 1400PS or 1550PS for speeds of up to 32kts. Whilst cruising is effortless at 25 knots, this yachts brand new hull has the capability of a staggering 1,000nm range at a 10 knot displacement speed.

The all-new 76 Yacht is unmistakably Sunseeker from the exceptional sea keeping of the very latest deep-V hull design, to the class leading space throughout her beautifully appointed decks – this incredible new yacht is without doubt the new benchmark for her class.

Predator 57 MK II – Show Debut

The Predator 57 MK II is an evolution of the incredibly popular Predator 57 which has been the segment leader since its introduction at the same show in 2015, echoing all its stand out features with even more elegance and style.

Sporty and sleek, the Sunseeker Predator 57 is crafted to perfectly balance style with practicality. Epitomising the latest Sunseeker design cues, the refreshed exterior boasts sleek yet oversized pillarless’ windows down to the side deck which floods the interior with light and provides uninterrupted views from the saloon. Sean Robertson, Sales Director, commented: “The difference this makes to an already light saloon is remarkable and clients are truly amazed by the transformation”.

The transom area now features Sunseeker’s award-winning ‘Beach Club’ – an option first introduced with the Manhattan 52 in 2016 and now a Sunseeker signature feature. This area offers an inviting space for family and friends to enjoy the built-in BBQ, ‘rain shower’ and fold-down transom seating, not to mention the integral garage for the PWC, effortlessly launched via the hydraulic bathing platform.

The patio door, which separates the saloon from the cockpit, lowers at the flick of a switch to create one incredible entertaining space, adaptable for different climates and which is further enhanced by a fully opening hardtop roof over the saloon. No compromises necessary.

Featuring six berths in three cabins, with an additional crew cabin for one, the full beam master cabin is located amidship with en suite, lounge seating and vanity space. It truly is a yacht designed for cruising in luxury and is sure to remain the benchmark for the segment.

The Predator 57 certainly doesn’t sacrifice performance for style. With speeds of up to 40 knots (depending on the engines/drive option chosen), it cuts an impressive figure on the open water with exemplary seakeeping and unmatched agility whether mated to shafts or twin Volvo Penta IPS-950.

Manhattan 52

The Manhattan 52 is devised to maximise entertainment options, light and living space throughout the boat. Its hull incorporates unparalleled amounts of curved glass to emphasise its sleek lines as well as bringing the outside in.

The unique layout of the main deck makes this the perfect boat for entertaining in style; with a strong focus on creating fun and easy to use sociable spaces. From the generous saloon and upper aft galley, through to the social seating at the helm, this exceptional layout allows the owner and guests to move effortlessly between entertaining spaces.

A standout feature that truly sets the Manhattan 52 apart from its peers is the hinged glass cockpit/galley window that opens upwards and outwards, which, alongside the bi-fold saloon doors, creates an exceptional inside/outside environment. The convertible helm seating area is another new feature, designed to enhance life onboard as it allows owners to fold the seats forward at the flick of a switch to provide an incredibly large saloon seating area.

Thanks to the galley being situated on the main deck, there is space for three very large cabins below. The master cabin is a real standout feature for a boat of this size, with full height headroom all the way around the bed demonstrating yet again the attention Sunseeker has given to creating exceptional living spaces. Interior fabric and décor selections remain peerless, delivering a quality that is unprecedented; a reputation that is unmatched.

Lastly, the ‘Beach Club’ option of BBQ griddle, overhead ‘rain shower’ and fold down transom seating is the must-have feature. From starting the concept in 2015, the Manhattan 52 was instrumental in winning the recent 2017 IBI/Metstrade Boat Builder Award for ‘Innovative On-board Design Solution’. Proof that world-class design is at the core of every Sunseeker model.

Powered by Volvo Penta D11-725 engines on shaft drive or Volvo Penta IPS-950, the Manhattan 52 can cruise comfortably at 24 knots with a cruising range of 250 nautical miles or achieve an exhilarating 33 knots at full throttle.
