New Superyacht Must Have Watertoy

The company behind the world’s smallest water scooter equipped with double propellers for swimming, snorkelling and diving has launched a kick start funding campaign to raise $30,000 and so begin construction.

The WhiteShark MIX is the perfect watery for those learning to swim and experienced swimmers, divers and watersports enthusiasts looking to explore the depths of the water.

It has a GoPro camera mount so you can record every underwater moment.

Designed for scuba divers, snorkelers and everyday watersports enthusiasts, the twin propeller scooter is easy and safe to operate and is likely to be a hit with yacht charter guests

The ‘twist and go’ operation means water lovers can enhance their fun in the pool while scuba divers can save energy and oxygen meaning more quality time in the sea.  

Weighing only 6.5lbs it is superyacht friendly and its zero buoyancy means it floats when released.

With Kaplan four leaf blade propellers to reduce drag the underwater scooter provides a smooth, stable ride, with a top speed of 3.45 miles per hour and depths of up to 130 feet. The battery lasts up to an hour and takes only 2.5 hours to fully charge.

Sublue creates and manufactures underwater robots. It has made breakthroughs in a wide range of technologies, IPR and patents in remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV).

It has independently developed software for the power system, control system, communication system, navigation system, and measurement system of the robot, as well the hardware, such as underwater propeller, underwater video camera, underwater light, magnetic coupling sealer, and ROV dedicated control box.
