New 26XP from Numarine

26XP Numarine

The premiere of the all new 26 XP from Numarine is planned to take place at the Boat Show Eurasia from February 17-25, 2018 in Viaport Marina, Tuzla (near Istanbul), Turkey. Check her out on Slips 3 and 4 where she will lie along side her big sister Marla the 32XP which is also making her first show debut

But before that show we have a sneak preview here:

This compact 26-meter expedition vessel was sold in May 2016 to a returning customer from Turkey as is the new baby sister of the hugely successful 32XP. The brand-loyal customer has in the past owned 3 Numarine yachts the last being a 78’ Fly.

The first of four to have already been sold, hull number 1 is a semi-displacement version the 26XP is also available with a displacement hull and bulbous bow.

On the water the 26XP has a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots and in her sea trials she has exceeded latest standards of noise and vibration reduction.

Numarine’s long-term collaborator Can Yalman designed the 26XP’s exterior and interior. Naval architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini.

Her modern, futuristic, due to angular windows and a vertical bow, lines carry the DNA of a larger model, the 32XP, the first of which was launched last summer.

Designed to offer the same capabilities of her longer sisters, the 26XP’s smaller draft allows her to berth in shallower harbours. The yacht has well proven and efficient hull, especially designed for ocean cruising.

The first 26XP unit was built in the very efficient, semi-displacement version. The superyacht will achieve a maximum speed of 22 knots, with a cruising speed of 18 knots. Her sophisticated interior is spacious and refined.

There are four large guest cabins below decks, including the master suite amidships and two VIP cabins. Social areas are vast, with an extensive main saloon, beach platform and a special flybridge with it’s own lounge, dining table and even storage space for a 5-meter tender.

To ensure the maximum level of comfort on board the 26XP, Numarine took great care in eliminating or reducing all sources of noise and vibration. The on-board systems that resolve these issues are from the shipyard’s longstanding partner Silent Line, noise and vibration experts for luxury yachts, commercial vessels, and industrial and architectural projects.

The 26XP is also unique due to her flexible design concept. While the first unit was built with the semi-displacement option, there is also the possibility to choose the displacement version: here, the yacht’s maximum speed is 11.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 9 knots and a greater fuel autonomy, up to 3,500 nm at 8 knots.

“Three of four units that have already been sold to clients are full displacement”, confirmed Orhun Senturk. “While the first has just hit the water, the other three, for clients from Europe, Russia and the Middle East, will soon follow and are to be launched by the end of 2018”.
