The Monaco Yacht Show unveils new initiatives for 2017

With two months before the opening of the 27th Monaco Yacht Show, exhibiting brokerage companies, superyacht builders and the Show partners have been given an insight about new initiatives developed to attract new superyacht prospective clients to the show.

Speaking at Hotel Fairmont Monte-Carlo, Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the MYS, shared the “Sapphire Experience” to a select audience of industry guests.

The idea behind this is to tailor make a show visit exclusively for those UHNWIs who need privacy or lack time

The MYS Concierge Service will coordinate with yacht managers and yachts on exhibition to schedule private visits on chosen superyachts within Port Hercules making sure the VIP visitor enjoys a full agenda of entertainment and activities during the Show.

With the port continually evolving as construction works continue to alter the shape of the waterfront another new layout of this years show has been unveiled 2017 .

Now that Quai Albert 1er as been transformed a following two years of public works it will, this year, welcome the return of the Dutch Pavilion of HISWA.

Rare and exclusive luxury cars will be added to the Tenders & Toys Show, which will display the trendiest dinghies and water toys afloat and on the same quay.

The dock will also host Starboard, a new exhibition-lounge where show guests may extend their visit with activities such as: art and decoration exhibition stands, restaurant and a terrace with a lounge.

Worldwide yachting and lifestyle magazines will be also be displayed here in self-service racks beside the MYS Press Centre, which offers meeting rooms available upon request.

Starboard is also available for exhibitors to host private events. The new zone fulfils the Monaco Yacht Show’s commitment to develop the quality of the exhibition befitting its international clientele.
