Independent ship repairer Burgess Marine has been chosen to give the yacht a winter refit at its ship lift facility in Portchester, Portsmouth.
Constructed way back in 1986, she is 55m LOA, with an 11.8m beam and a 4m draught and has carried the names: Southern Cross III, Emihar Chios and Indian Princess.
The vessel arrived in Portsmouth from San Remo during September and after a short layover in the commercial port was docked on the syncrolift located at Trafalgar Wharf, Portchester.
The planned package of works includes minor structural, mechanical and electrical modifications, and the installation of new Naiad stabilisers.
The refit will also include modifications and improvements to both the interior and exterior styling, and a new external paint scheme.
Simultaneously the shipyard is completing refit works on-board the new build of Tacanuya the Glider Yachts prototype.
