The Italian State owned shipbuilder Fincantieri is to take a minority stake in Camper & Nicholsons International the yacht brokerage, charter and management company.
Making a capital injection at the outset, the arrangement when completed will allow the shipbuilder already one of Europe’s largest shipbuilding groups and the largest in the Mediterranean, to increase subsequently its share capital in the future.
Camper & Nicholsons itself was sold just nine months ago and since that time has consolidated and acquired the Camper & Nicholsons brand name from its pervious owner
The shipbuilder and the brokerage house have already worked together building the 134 metre Serene and the 140 metre Ocean Victory, delivered in 2011 and 2014 respectively.
