Just as the Antigua Charter Yacht Show heralds in the start of the Caribbean season, so too does the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous signal the start of the season on that side of the globe.
This years event is the 12thsuch Rendezvous and it begins on December 16th and most of the yachts have already arrived in the area.
Captains, crew and VIP guests are getting revved up for some sun, sailing and socialising.
The buzz in Phuket is growing daily with Christmas around the corner and local beaches are bustling with families, honeymooners, holiday makers and friendly locals.

This year’s Rendezvous has attrcted 8 Superyachts and these are currently anchored in Bang Thao Bay. They include:

Phuket is continuously playing host to more and more yachts each year and this season it is proving to be an extremely popular destination for the festive season.
The region as a whole is seeing a massive growth in the number of Superyachts for short visits and some are now calling Asia ‘home’.
Two days of sailing have been arranged and sailing yachts will eagerly race one another whilst motor yachts follow in suit.
